About Ulster University
Ulster University is a public research university based in Northern Ireland, with roots going back to 1865 when Magee College was founded in Derry. It took its current form in 1984 through the merger of the New University of Ulster and Ulster Polytechnic, and today it is the largest university in Northern Ireland and the second largest on the island of Ireland. The university has three main campuses across Northern Ireland: in Belfast, Coleraine, and Derry~Londonderry, along with the Jordanstown Sports Village and branch campuses in London and Birmingham.
