Why the University of Derby for Indian Students?
The University of Derby is a practical and welcoming option for Indian students who want a career-focused UK degree in an affordable, well-connected English city. Derby is located in the Midlands, close to Nottingham, Leicester, and Birmingham, making it easy to access a wide range of employers, cultural experiences, and transport links throughout a student's journey. The cost of living in Derby is lower than in many major UK university cities, and the university's strong focus on industry experience and employability gives Indian graduates a genuine competitive advantage in the job market.
The university provides a supportive environment for international students with a dedicated international team, visa guidance, and orientation support from day one.
