About Robert Gordon University
Robert Gordon University (RGU) is a reputable public university in Aberdeen, Scotland. It goes way back to 1750, when a wealthy Aberdeen merchant named Robert Gordon left money to set up a school for boys.
That school became a technical college, then an institute of technology, and gained university status in 1992. RGU teaches everything at the Garthdee campus, next to the River Dee. The campus had about £120 million spent on it in recent years.
Robert Gordon University calls itself "The Professional University" because it builds its courses around what employers want. And truly, it earns it. Over 16,000 students study in this institution.
