Student life at Robert Gordon University is social and active, with 19 societies, 32 sports clubs, and regular events through the Students' Union all year round.

Carrer service is where Robert Gordon University really earns its name. The Career and Employability Service gives students personalised coaching, CV workshops, mock interviews, and employer events throughout their degree.

Work placements are part of the majority of courses. Aberdeen's position as Europe's energy capital means there are industry connections in oil, gas, and renewables that few universities can match. 

The RGU eHub lists part-time work, internships, and graduate roles. A startup accelerator is there for students who want to build a business. There’s also an alumni network that has around 80,000 members worldwide.

Robert Gordon University manages four student halls across Aberdeen. Prices start at about £99 per week at Woolmanhill. First-year students are guaranteed on-campus accommodation.

For a university of RGU’s size, it keeps support simple and reachable. The Student Support Centre is open daily, and a ResLife team across accommodation sites deals with problems as they come up.
