About Buckinghamshire New University
Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) is an open university based in High Wycombe, UK. It has additional campuses in Aylesbury, Uxbridge, and Great Missenden. Its origins date back to 1891, when it was known as the School of Science and Art, and it gained university status in 2007.
The university operates a career-led education, where teaching is built around industry experience, partnerships, and applied learning. This is aimed at graduating students who are job-ready and not just theory.
Why Buckinghamshire New University for Nigerian Students
Adjusting to student lifestyle is very important in the first year of study. BNU understands this and has made its teaching style flexible, allowing students to easily adapt to study expectations. The school environment is dynamic but not stressful, making blending smoother.
Since the university is close to London, it gives students good exposure, while living stress remains low. For Nigerian students, this balance is necessary, hence making BNU a good choice.
