About Health Sciences University
The Health Sciences University (HSU) is so named to reflect the institution’s focus on specialised training in healthcare education, research, and clinical services.
Although it was formerly known as AECC (Anglo-European College of Chiropractic) University College, the university rebranded in 2024 to communicate its shift from primarily chiropractic education to other healthcare disciplines.
The institution opened its doors in 1965 to train students in the practice of chiropractic medicine. Today, HSU offers over 30 accredited courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In addition, various apprenticeships and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes are available for registered healthcare professionals.
The Health Sciences University operates two main campuses, one is located in Bournemouth and the other in London.
